and i am terrified. i take good care of my teeth, always brushing twice a day and flossing at night. i just returned from my first visit in two years and it looks like this is what my near future will consist of...

1 cavity
multiple appointments
fear
pain

fear
i started crying right in front of her when she gave me the estimated cost of everything. embarrassing. there goes the money we've been diligently saving for school.
i suppose i should be grateful that i even have a dentist, and that i don't look like these nastys...
but i'd rather just wallow in my own misery.
Boooo Esther! I'm so sorry and sad for you!!! Just tell them to knock you out! Or wait till Jake is in school and needing to practice!!! Then you can get it for free because we'll say your my sister wife and you'll never pay! Oh boo Es. You'll do great!
ReplyDeleteThe worst! It is so expensive to get dental work. Lance won't let me forget how I used all our Christmas money one year so we could go to the dentist. I'm so sorry.
ReplyDeleteGet a second opinion. A root canal is usually reserved for emergencies; you shouldn't need one unless your tooth causes pain.
ReplyDeleteEsther! I read this post yesterday and then i had a ream about going to the dentist! I HATE the dentist too. I just feel so uncomfortable. I had a root canal like 3 years ago, and it's not that bad though. I'll send you good vibes!

ReplyDeleteYeah you are right. Sometimes it is quite expensive. But still, as you know, dental treatment is indispensable also.
